Program Objective:
The aim of the program is to train economic professionals who, with their knowledge in economics, applied economic sciences, and methodology, along with the expertise gained through specializations, are capable of understanding, planning, and analyzing the operational processes and economic relationships of business organizations and institutions.
After acquiring practical knowledge and experience, graduates will be able to manage and organize business and entrepreneurial activities and processes. They are also prepared to continue their studies at the master’s level.
A fundamental goal is to enable students to realize their entrepreneurial dreams, develop leadership skills, and enhance their competitiveness in the job market. The program also focuses on adapting to rapidly evolving technological innovations (e.g., artificial intelligence) and effectively utilizing these novel solutions.
A key aspect of understanding business processes is developing the ability to apply them in practice and introduce new methods. An incubation program provides advisory and investment support to help students realize their ideas.
The university years should be a defining and happy period in students’ lives, offering unique experiences and lifelong friendships and professional connections.
Program Description:
The curriculum and study materials present both an academic challenge and an engaging student experience. The logical introduction of theoretical knowledge is combined with practical training, which enhances students' leadership and decision-making skills, broadens their perspectives, assists with career planning, and improves their competitiveness in the job market.
Students learn management-related knowledge in a way that enables them to apply it in almost any industry. Therefore, the program is ideal for those who have not yet decided on a specific career path but want to take control of their future.
Emphasis is placed on the interconnections between different academic fields and the integration of subjects. The core economic subjects characteristic of Business and Management programs are complemented by unique knowledge areas offered by MATE’s diverse educational portfolio, which can provide a competitive advantage in the job market. These include sustainable business practices, artificial intelligence, circular economy, supply chains, communication skills and techniques, and knowledge in the agricultural and food industries.
The program’s relevance and competitiveness are supported by an advisory board composed of successful entrepreneurs and corporate executives from the private sector. This board reviews the curriculum, gives guest lectures, and provides support for internships, scientific student work (TDK), and thesis writing.
Throughout the learning process, real-world business experiences are integrated at every stage, and understanding complex relationships is facilitated by the practical application of specific management methods.
